Kokanee Fishing

Kokanee fishing is a great year around fishery.   It always seems to become most popular late winter until late spring.   These extremely shiny, great eating fish are landlocked sockeye salmon.

Very few places around here offer the size of the Kokanee that Lake Roosevelt offers. 4lb kokanee are common!

Lake Chelan is also a great place to catch lots of Kokanee year round and the limit is 10 fish per person!   We mainly target these Kokanee outside of salmon seasons on the Columbia.   January-April
