There are two main species being targeted Lake Trout (Mackinaw) and triploids. 

Lake Chelan  has huge numbers of Mackinaw, expect to catch several fish per person.  These fish generally range between 3 and 10 pounds.  Lake Chelan also has a season for landlocked Chinook Salmon which range between 5 and 15 pounds.  If open, both of these species can be targeted at the same time.

We will be fishing from a 24’ Alumaweld Super Vee Pro jet boat and be trolling a variety of baits or lures, and depth is controlled by electric downriggers.

Rufus Woods Reservoir is the first section of the Columbia that isn’t above any fish ladders.  We will be targeting triploids and rainbow trout, which range from 1 to 15 pounds.  Generally each person’s daily limit is 2 fish.

We will be fishing from a 24’ Alumaweld Super Vee Pro jet boat and be either trolling with lures or fishing bobbers and jigs.  Generally the best time for large triploids is November through February.
